The Foodist Files Story

This is a diary of my adventures in travel, eating and cooking. They are the passions that define my life. I love to travel. I travel to eat. I eat to live. I live to write. I write to share. I share my experiences to enlighten and embrace fellow foodies whose lives are defined and enriched by where they go and what they eat.

I have always had a relationship with food, whether dining out, cooking it, or traveling somewhere in the world to find it. At any time, I am either dreaming or thinking about my next meal, where I will get it, or how I will prepare it. Food, in some capacity, is always on my mind. I have started this blog as a diary-of-sorts, to share my experiences with food on the road or in my kitchen. Writing has always been my passion; it is the optimum vehicle for expression, especially when sharing ideas and observations with fellow foodies. I live in the Philadelphia area, so many of my posts will pertain to restaurants and vendors in and around Philly; but some will contain stories about my eats and travels elsewhere, along with those people and places that make our food experiences memorable. Thank you for reading. Cheers!
